ENERGY CONSERVATION – A WAY TO ACHIEVE ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Energy is unquestionably of abundant significance to everyone  – it is depended on to carry out day-to-day activities. Energy supplies (resources) are limited, and to sustain a good quality of life, daily/ continual use of energy must be done wisely. Although depletion of the world resources might not be seen as an immediate issue, it will certainly be a thing of major concern in the long run. This is why it is crucial to conserve energy.

The world energy consumption keeps increasing at an alarming rate yet the increase in the rate of generation is low in comparison with the rate of consumption. This, in part, is caused by the frivolous use of energy. Mahatma Gandhi once said, “The earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs but not every man’s greed”. This statement pretty much sums up the significance of energy conservation. Immediate implementation of energy conservation measures is certainly of paramount importance.

Energy conservation is attainable either by using energy more efficiently or by reducing the amount of service usage. The goal here is to reduce demand, protect and replenish supplies,  improve and use alternative energy sources, increase environmental quality and clean up polluted areas from the prior energy processes.

There has to be a reduction or elimination of unnecessary energy consumption.

Energy conservation must be among the topmost priorities of humanity.
